Dear Colleagues!

It is my great pleasure to invite you to the first XChange Symposium.

Since the redesign of the Department of Radiation Oncology 10 years ago, innovation and scientific training have become key components of our clinic.

We would greatly appreciate the opportunity of discussing the status of radiation oncology today, and potential directions for the future. Therefore, we are pleased to invite you to our first 1.5-day XChange Symposium, to be held from July 26th and 27th 2019 at the downtown campus of the University Hospital, LMU Munich.

The purpose of the symposium is to provide a forum for the exchange of new scientific findings with high potential for clinical development. The focus will be on the strategic orientation of modern radiation oncology. Thus, the theme for 2019 has been set to Vision 2030: high-promise therapy modalities and techniques in radiation oncology. We will outline our vision for the future and discuss the potential for our various business units, and look forward to critical discussions with you.

Various national and international experts will present the development potential of modern radiation oncology. We have planned an agenda centered on ample discussion, and look forward to welcoming you in Munich.

With kind regards,

Prof. Dr. med. Claus Belka
